Institute of Zoology at the International Exhibition of Inventions INVENTICA 2020

Between July 29-31, 2020, the 24th International Exhibition of Inventions INVENTICA 2020 took place. Due to the current global situation related to the pandemic COVID-19, Technical University „Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi and the National Institute of Inventions Iasi have decided to organize online the 24th Edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions INVENTICA 2020.

550 inventions were presented at the International Invention Exhibition INVENTICA 2020 by the over 120 participants, universities, research institutes, companies and inventors, among which were the inventions of researchers from the Institute of Zoology.

The researchers had the opportunity to participate in the Exhibition with patent applications, which were published in the Official Bulletin of Intellectual Property (BOPI), with patents and research projects, which were not presented in previous years.

The works were evaluated by an international jury, and the diplomas/medals/cups were sent through the postal network to the institution represented by the participants.
The Institute of Zoology participated in with four works, three of which were awarded the Diploma of Excellence and the INVENTICA 2020 Medal "in recognition of the high scientific contribution":

1. Ungureanu L., Toderaș I., Cebotari V., Gheorghiță C., Ungureanu G., Tumanova D. Green Algae Strains – Sources of Biologically Active Substances used in Aquaculture and Apiculture; 
2. Toderaș I., Rusu S., Savin A., Erhan D., Ciocoi O., Zamornea M., Grosu Gh., Gologan I. Method for the Disinfestation and Supplementary Feeding of Hares; 
3. Crepis O., Bulat Dm., Usatîi M., Bulat Dn, Șaptefrați N., Usatîi A. Installation for Ecological and Industrial Reproduction of Pelagophilic Fish.
