Distinctions handed out to researchers of the Institute of Zoology on the eve of the Science Day

In the context of the World Science Day for Peace and Development, the Moldova State University organized a festive event on 7 November 2023, called the Performance Gala in Research 2023.

In the first part of the event, some distinctions obtained by researchers of MSU at various invention exhibitions, organized recently in Romania, have been handed out. Thus, the author collective formed by Elena Zubcov, Natalia Zubcov, Laurenţia Ungureanu, Nina Bagrin, Liviu-Dan Miron, Denis Bulat, Petru Ciorba, Lucia Bileţchi and Nadejda Andreev received the gold medal, which was awarded by the Inventions International Exhibition INVENTICA 2023, the 27th edition, as sign of appreciation of the invention „Method for pond farming of fish producers of cyprinids”. The exhibition was held at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University form Iași between 21 and 23 June 2023. The gold medal of the  International Exhibition of Research, Innovations and Inventions PRO INVENT 2023, the 21th edition (25-27 October 2023, Cluj-Napoca) for the invention „Universal mobile complex for fish breeding” was handed out to the researcher team Oleg Crepis, Dumitru Bulat, Elena Zubcov and Denis Bulat. 

The Performance Gala in Research continued with the handing out of honorary diplomas of MSU, in recognition of special merits in the field of research and on the occasion of the World Science Day for Peace and Development. Among honoured was Dr. Roman Croitor, senior scientific researcher in the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, who recently defended his thesis of doctor habilitate at the speciality 165.02. Zoology. We congratulate him and wish him success at the stage of confirmation of the scientific title!
