Students of the Faculty of Biology and Geosciences of USM in the role of scientific researchers

On April 26, 2024 the Institute of Zoology hosted 26 students of the Faculty of Biology and Geosciences of the Moldova State University, first year, undergraduate cycle (study programs Biology, Biology and Geography, Education Sciences, Molecular Biology and Ecology).

During the visit, the students, who have just started their way in the fascinating universe of biological sciences, had the opportunity to be real scientific researchers for a day. They presented in the Meeting Hall of the Institute of Zoology their research projects, which were carried out during the second semester of the 2023 -2024 academic year under the guidance of Dr. Moldovan Anna, university lecturer. 

Also, the students had the opportunity to learn about the research directions of the Institute of Zoology and the infrastructure of the Laboratory of Systematics and Molecular Phylogeny, discovering opportunities to complete their bachelor's theses and integrate into the research teams.
