The scientific researchers of the Institute of Zoology, MSU, participated during November 2-4, 2023 in the XIV edition of the international scientific conference "Ecology and Protection of Ecosystems", organized by the "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, Faculty of Sciences, Department of Biology, Ecology, and Environmental Protection, an event that stood out for its high scientific and academic attire.
In a welcome speech, addressed to the conference organizers, Mrs. Laurentia Ungureanu, corr. mem., dr. hab., prof., director of the Institute of Zoology, mentioned the multi-year fruitful collaboration of the Institute of Zoology with "Vasile Alecsandri" University” from Bacău and, in particular, with the Faculty of Sciences, which allowed the exchange of experience, professional achievements, and scientific works of researchers. As a sign of high appreciation for the multi-year and fruitful collaboration in the field of ecology and environmental protection, the organizers offered academic plaques to some universities and research institutions, including the Institute of Zoology of MSU.
During the conference, the scientific researchers of the Institute of Zoology (Laurentia Ungureanu, Elena Zubcov, Nina Bagrin, Grigore Ungureanu, Natalia Caraman, Sorina Istrati) presented their work within oral presentations and poster sessions, in 3 sections: Biodiversity of aquatic organisms, Biodiversity of terrestrial organisms and Ecology and Sustainable Development.
The participants from the Institute of Zoology express their gratitude for the invitation and congratulate the organizing committee for this high-level and productive Conference, wishing them further achievements.
