Excellent Idea – 2024: awards for researchers of the Institute of Zoology

The 3rd edition of the EXCELLENT IDEA International Exhibition of Innovation and Technological Transfer was held between September 20-21, 2024, the role of organizers being fulfilled by the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Nicolae Testemițanu” from the Republic of Moldova.

The Institute of Zoology participated with works in several competition categories. The jury highly appreciated the works, as following:

Invention category

1. Zubcov Elena, Zubcov Natalia, Ungureanu  Laurenția, Bagrin Nina, Miron Liviu-Dan, Bulat Denis, Ciorba Petru, Bileţchi Lucia, Andreev Nadejda. Method for pond farming of fish producers of cyprinids – gold medal;
2. Rusu Ştefan, Erhan Dumitru, Savin Anatol, Toderaş Ion, Zamornea Maria, Chihai Oleg, Rusu Viorelia, Gologan Ion. Method for assessing the sensitivity of cervids to stress factors – gold medal.

Innovation category

1. Toderas Ion, Iurcu-Străistaru Elena, Rusu Ştefan, Bivol Alexei, Erhan Dumitru, Melnic Maria, Gliga Olesea,Gologan Ion. Investigation results on the new biologic preparate Clariva 10 L, as a nematocide remedy in sugar beet culture, in order to combat invasive complexes of nematodes, associated with insect pests, productive sweet roots and seeds – gold medal.

5. Bușmachiu Galina. Fauna colembolelor (Hexapoda: Collembola) din Republica Moldova – silver medal.
