Diplomas and medals for researchers of the Institute of Zoology

The meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology from 11 November 2022 was a particularly solemn one, although it had on the agenda the examination and approval of scientific reports regarding the implementation of projects in 2022. The festive element was the handing out of honorary diplomas of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova to several researchers of the Institute of Zoology:

• Dr. Olesea Gliga, leading scientific researcher in the Laboratory of Parasitology and Helminthology;
• Dr. Cristina Țugulea, senior scientific researcher in the Professor Boris Vereşciaghin Laboratory of Entomology;
• Dr. Anna Moldovan, senior scientific researcher in the Laboratory of Molecular Systematics and Phylogeny;
• Dr. Anastasia Ivanova, scientific researcher in the Laboratory of Hydrobiology and Ecotoxicology;
• Nadejda Railean, scientific researcher in the Laboratory of Molecular Systematics and Phylogeny. 

The distinctions were awarded for professional achievements and on the occasion of the Day of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (decisions of the Presidium of the ASM from 6 June 2022). The flowers offered by the trade union of the Institute of Zoology completed the solemn moment.

Also, the diplomas and medals obtained in October at the International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations "Traian Vuia", the 8th edition, Timișoara, and the International Exhibition of Research, Innovations and Inventions PRO INVENT, the 20th edition, Cluj-Napoca, were handed out.
